Located in Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross, ‘The Drops’ showcased emerging designers across fashion, homewares and lifestyle.
The idea behind the event was not only to provide a platform for small independent businesses, but for The Drops to be a co-curated event, developed in partnership with the established retailers trading in Coal Drops Yard.
This unique market celebrates shopping small and purchasing purposefully, and champions originality, independence, authenticity, sustainability and creative talent. It’s focus is to support creative new talent, work in collaboration with existing retailers, and grow a community of conscious consumers at Kings Cross.
The Drops not only provided opportunity for traders to showcase their wares at one of the most unique new areas of London, but it also facilitated a mentoring programme hosted by established retailers in the yard.
